Maris Recruitment RO Group SRL, acting as the local crewing agent for Oldendorff Carriers, is seeking experienced 2nd Officer to join an ASD Towing Tug operating in Indonesia.

Responsibilities
• Navigation, watchkeeping and passage planning.
• Maintain charts, publications and vessel records.
• Support towing, mooring, anchoring and manoeuvring.
• Maintain deck, towing and safety equipment.
• Participate in risk assessments, drills and emergencies.
• Manage stores, spares and safety equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company, flag, class and project requirements.

Requirements
• Valid STCW and OOW (Deck) qualification.
• Tug, offshore vessel or workboat experience.
• Towing/anchor-handling experience preferred.
• Strong navigation and deck-operation skills.
• Good maintenance and defect-reporting knowledge.
• Good English communication.
• Able to work independently in a small crew.
• Strong safety awareness.

Ideal Candidate
Hands-on, responsible and proactive, with strong safety standards and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
