3rd Engineer (Tugboat)

Maris Recruitment RO Group SRL, acting as the local crewing agent for Oldendorff Carriers, is seeking experienced 3rd Engineer to join a Tugboat operating in Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting the Chief Engineer in the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of the vessel’s machinery and technical systems.
• Operate and maintain main and auxiliary machinery.
• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot machinery faults and assist with breakdowns.
• Monitor machinery condition and report defects.
• Maintain accurate technical records.
• Follow all safety and environmental procedures.

Candidate Requirements:
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) in accordance with STCW regulations
• Minimum 3 completed contracts as 3rd Engineer on similar vessel types and sizes
• Proven experience with Caterpillar main engines
• Previous experience working with multinational crews
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Strong technical troubleshooting and repair skills
